About Our Clinic in Southport
Southport Park Family Dental was founded by Dr Carlos and his wife Shannon. We are a unique family owned and operated dental practice servicing the local Gold Coast community. With over 10 years’ experience together in the healthcare industry, we have taken the time to understand what patients and their families want and how we can best deliver this service to you.
We understand that choosing the right dentist for you and your family is an important one and we would love the opportunity to show you why we are a great choice for you.

DR CARLOS CABRERA BOralH GDipDent BSc (Hons)
PRINCIPAL DENTIST / OWNER
He is interested in all aspects of dentistry and ensures that patient concerns are addressed. With his gentle nature and sense of humour, he makes patients feel comfortable. Dr. Carlos aims to change perceptions of dentistry, ensuring every patient leaves with a smile.
His own dental experiences inspired his career. At 12, he had Root Canal treatment and Crowns after knocking his front teeth. At 18, he had wisdom teeth removed and underwent Invisalign treatment. Having experienced these procedures, he empathises with patients to ensure a pleasant dental experience.
DR ALISON MILES
DENTIST
Known for her gentle and compassionate manner, Alison brings a calm, friendly, and empathetic approach to her work. She places strong importance on building trusting relationships with her patients and making them feel at ease during every visit.
Alison takes the time to carefully listen to your concerns and clearly explain all available treatment options. Her goal is to ensure you feel informed and confident in choosing the solution that best meets your needs.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Alison regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current with the latest dental advancements. She has recently developed a particular interest in managing TMJ disorders and Sleep Apnoea.
Outside of dentistry, Alison enjoys staying active at the gym, participating in sports, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
DR Penny Tsolakidou
DENTIST
Dr Penny was raised in Greece and later grew up on the Gold Coast, where she earned her degrees in Bachelor of Dental Health Science and Master of Dentistry at Griffith University.
Her passion for art, science and health inspired her to work in the dental field, however her favourite part of the role is getting to know every patient and working together to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Dr Penny is known for her calm and gentle nature, taking time to understand concerns and explain each step when treating anxious or young patients. She strives to make dental visits positive and comfortable, and values delivering care that is best suited to your needs while making sure you are well-informed about the treatment options.
She is committed to continuing dental education and enjoys all areas of dentistry, with a particular interest in treating gum disease and more recently, clear aligner treatment.
Outside of work, Dr Penny enjoys being active, spending time with family and friends, and discovering new cafe spots around the coast.
BRAD LINDEBERG
ORAL HEALTH THERAPIST
Brad’s undergraduate, Post-graduate qualifications and years of experience highlight his dedication, competence and enjoyment in caring for his patients.
As an evolution to patient care; Southport Park Family Dental is proud to welcome and include Brad and his clinical skills in the practice.
His inclusion to the team will enable high quality patient care within his expanded Scope of Practice while allowing our dentist to continue treating complex treatment for patients as required.
Allowing the dentist to continue complex treatments; Brad is here to complete routine checkups and cleans; individualise treatment plans and complete fillings for both children and adult patients.
Brad is a true asset to the ongoing care we provide here at Southport Park Family Dental.
